Carolyn M. (Jamieson) Stewart, 88, formerly of Lincoln, passed away peacefully on February 20, 2023 in Katy, TX. She was the beloved wife of the late Robert P. Stewart of Lincoln for 57 years. Born in Attleboro, MA, she was the daughter of the late Robert Jamieson and Irene (Ingham) Jamieson. After graduating from Pawtucket West High School in 1952, she went on to work for the Rooney, Poltkin & Willey accounting firm for many years. She lived in Lincoln (Saylesville) most of her life before retiring to Florida, North Carolina, and eventually to Katy, TX. She is survived by five children, Deborah Szuluk and her husband Bill of Katy, TX; Shirley Hartley; Robert Stewart Jr; Susan Vinacco; and John Stewart and his wife Gail of Warwick. Carolyn was the grandmother to eight grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. She will be laid to rest with her husband Robert at the Moshassuck Cemetery in Central Falls with a graveside ceremony on Monday, February 27th at 11:00AM. Anyone wishing to attend the burial ceremony can meet at the Keefe Funeral Home parking lot (5 Higginson Ave., Lincoln) at 10:30AM and follow to the cemetery.
